FROM INVITATION TO ADVENTURE

Three steps. Then you’re in.

  1. Get the launcher

    Use the download above on your Windows PC. Open StreetRust-Launcher.exe when it finishes.

  2. Download & play

    The launcher gets the matching game build. Once the download finishes, choose Play. Keep the launcher for your next visit.

  3. Make it your world

    Create your account and verify your recovery email, then sign in when the game opens. Choose World → Join world. Your community address is already filled in.

Already have an account? Sign in with it. Your invitation unlocks the download; your game account keeps you connected to your character and friends.

A few useful things.

How do I protect my account or reset my password?

Open Account & email to attach and verify your recovery email. Already made an account in the game? Sign in there with the same username and password. If you forget your password later, choose Forgot password. Resetting it keeps your survivor, friends and belongings.

Do I play in my browser?

Street Rust is a Windows desktop game. This page gets you the launcher; the game itself runs on your PC. You don’t need to install Godot or .NET separately.

What kind of PC do I need?

The current build is for 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Allow at least 8 GB of free disk space for the download and game files, plus a graphics card and current drivers supporting Vulkan or Direct3D 12. Performance is still being tested across different PCs. Start with Medium or Low in the game’s graphics settings if you need a smoother frame rate.

Windows doesn’t recognize the download?

This private playtest launcher is not yet code-signed, so Windows or your browser may show a publisher warning. If you’re unsure about a download, stop and check with your host. Don’t turn off your security protection.

How do I join a friend?

Join the community world, then open Esc → Community & friends. Add your friend by their account name. You can use the friend and world options to find one another again.

Does my solo character come with me?

Solo saves and the community world are separate. Sign in with the same account when returning to the community world to continue with your online character. The game remembers your username and community address; you’ll sign in again when you return.

Something isn’t working. What now?

Check the world status above and try the launcher again. If you’re in the game, use the feedback feature to capture what happened. Otherwise, send your host the exact error and a screenshot. Never share your password.
